| | The newest member of the Oceania Cruises fleet, Nautica is a sister ship that radiates her own unique warmth and character. Her distinctive personality shines through from the moment you first step into her newly redesigned, neo-classical lobby or Toscana, resplendent in rich new fabrics and furnishings that reflect the charisma of Tuscany. Nautica boasts decks and verandas graced with the finest teak and exquisite custom stone and tile work. To ensure the elegance shines throughout the entire experience, there is all new Villeroy & Boch china, the finest silver and crystal, and a distinctive museum-quality art collection that is an eclectic melding of traditional and contemporary, with a touch of whimsy. |
High Tea
One of cruising’s most time-honored traditions, High Tea is served
promptly at 4:00 each day, when the pastry chefs take center stage with a
colorful collection of English finger sandwiches, scones and other goodies
fit for royalty. Live entertainment and gracious service complete a very
elegant and refined afternoon.
Casino
Lady Luck always seems to be present in the Casino, coaxing
jackpots and eliciting squeals of delight. Take one of our slot machines for
a spin or join in a rousing game of blackjack, poker or roulette.
Card Room
The beautifully decorated Card Room is an inviting and tranquil
oasis. Stay at the top of your game and try your hand at bridge, either in
tournament format or with newfound friends. Or gather around one of our many
tables for a quiet afternoon or evening of board games.
Fitness Center
Whether
you are looking to stay fit or start a new exercise regimen, you’ll find
everything you need in our state of the art fitness center. This large, airy
facility has everything you need and is equipped with the latest exercise
equipment. There is also a large aerobics area and a variety of fitness
classes staffed by personal trainers.
Oceania@Sea
Stay connected with loved ones back home or easily monitor business
developments through our fully staffed, 24-hour Internet center,
Oceania@Sea. Our computer learning program offers complimentary computer
lessons during days at sea. Private one-on-one lessons on various topics
are available for a fee. Depending on the number of sea days, classes range
from beginner’s level Microsoft Windows XP to Microsoft Office applications
to creating a Web site while you sail through image retouching with Adobe
Photoshop Elements.
Distinctive
Lounges
Our eight distinctive lounges and bars each have their own special ambiance.
Horizons offers sweeping vistas, live entertainment and a convivial bar in
which to enjoy your favorite cocktail. Martinis serves numerous incarnations
of this famous cocktail in an intimate atmosphere, featuring live piano
music and reminiscent of a private gentleman’s club. Or visit the Polo Bar
where you can sample an almost infinite variety of premium, single-malt
scotch and full-grain whiskeys. Sample a rare vintage amid the opulence of
the The Grand Bar or the chicness of Grappa, the perfect venue to cap off
the evening with an Italian digestif.
Entertainment
If you’re an aficionado of
the arts, you’ll find our entertainment just as engrossing and personally
satisfying. In the evenings, the ship is filled with music performed by,
what some have called, the finest orchestra at sea. Attend a live classical
concert under the stars, the notes gently wafting through the misty night.
Marvel at the magicians, comedians and other headliners. Evenings aboard
Regatta and Insignia can be anything you desire. Chat with newfound friends
over a cocktail in one of our eight lounges. Dance the night away in
Horizons to the sounds of a marvelous musical group. Entertainment has never
been so enjoyable, enriching or varied.
Music
Whether it’s a 12-piece
classical concert, a jazz & blues jam session at Horizons, a magic, comedy
or guest lecture, we believe that exploration and learning should be
wonderfully entertaining, too. So it should come as no surprise that our
enrichment programs are always immensely fascinating.
Lectures
Our guest lecturers don’t
simply present information relevant to the region of the world in which
you’re sailing, they make it come alive, drawing you in with stories and
personal experiences. They know because they’re experts; often they were
there in the midst of world events. Renowned politicians. Famous authors.
Broadway stars. These are the kinds of engaging personalities who lecture
onboard our ships. Imagine being able to discuss a favorite book with its
author or question a former ambassador about foreign policy. All the reading
and research in the world can’t compare with face-to-face, in-person
discussions of subject-matters that are important to you. |
