The line's emphasis on passengers' choice is apparent across the fleet, with each vessel offering multiple dining options and locations; flexible and varied entertainment selections; renowned customer service; and a full complement of onboard activities including a variety of ScholarShip@Sea enrichment classes featuring computer training, ceramics, culinary arts, finance and photography. In addition to incorporating a wide range of choices, vessels in the Princess fleet are specifically designed to provide the ultimate in affordable luxury, with an emphasis on "big ship choice with small ship feel." No matter the size of the ship, public spaces are designed to feel intimate and are decorated in a contemporary style, allowing passengers to enjoy themselves in an informal, relaxed onboard atmosphere.
Princess has nearly 100 itineraries ranging from seven to 102 days. The line sails to all seven continents and calls at approximately 280 ports around the world. Destinations include the Caribbean, Alaska, Panama Canal, Europe, Mexican Riviera, South America, Australia/New Zealand, South Pacific, Hawaii, Tahiti/French Polynesia, Asia, India, Africa, Canada/New England, Antarctica and world cruises. Having led the way in Gulf of Alaska cruising, Princess maintains a strong presence in Alaska. Through its Seattle-based Princess Tours division, the company operates a wide variety of spectacular land and sea experiences in the majestic "Land of the Midnight Sun."
The legal drinking age of 21 years is always observed onboard and proof of age may be required. All onboard staff are trained to take seriously their responsibility to not serve alcohol to underage passengers. The age restrictions are clearly posted in the bars. Entry into the disco is limited to passengers 18 years and older. Be sure to check with the child and teen centers, however, for special disco events designed just for kids. Children under the age of 18 are welcome in the gymnasium, spa and Jacuzzi; and also in the evening entertainment show lounges when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
In line with domestic age limits, as well as Princess' company policy, the casino is reserved for passengers 21 years and older. Additionally, only those passengers 21 years and older will be allowed to purchase or consume alcohol. For those whose age is questionable, picture identification may be requested.
Children over six (6) months of age at the date of sailing will be accepted on the following itineraries: Alaska, Canada & New England, Caribbean, Europe, Mexico, Transcanal and Australia & New Zealand (coastal cruise only). Only children over the age of one (1) year at the date of sailing will be accepted for the following itineraries: Africa, South America, South Pacific, Hawaii & Tahiti, world cruises including Asia, Antarctica, Indian subcontinent, Transatlantic and Transpacific cruises.
Kids & Teens
This ship's activities run the age-appropriate gamut for those under 18 - from Princess Pelicans (ages 3 to 7), and Princess Pirateers (ages 8-12), to Off Limits (ages 13-17).

Traditional Dining

you like between 5:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., to enjoy dinner
alone or with friends.
Specialty Dining
When it comes to gourmet fare, variety is the spice
of life - so Princess offers several specialty dining
options. Sterling Steakhouse is an upscale take on the
traditional steakhouse, serving favorites like New York
steak and rib eye. Sabatini's, Princess' Italian trattoria, is
as authentic as they come - featuring fresh pasta dishes
and Mediterranean seafood specialties. And the Bayou
Cafe and Steakhouse will transport your tastebuds to Cajun
country.
Ultimate Balcony Dining
Enjoy Ultimate Balcony Dining, featuring fresh lobster or steak, delicious delicacies and private service, all on your own balcony. Treat yourself to this unparalleled level of luxury morning or night, available for an additional cost.

All throughout each ship, Princess has a wide variety of casual dining options:
Afternoon Tea
Indulge in afternoon tea with finger sandwiches,
pastries, scones, cookies, music and white-glove
service. It's the perfect interlude between sunning out
on deck and a star-studded evening at sea. Enjoy a wide
selection of premium teas - from Earl Grey to herbal
infusions. And of course there's coffee, if you prefer.
The choice is up to you.
Room Service
Call for personal room service at any time of the day
or night. To have continental breakfast delivered to
your stateroom, just fill out the breakfast card
included in your stateroom portfolio (one is also placed
on your pillow) and hang it out at night on your
stateroom door. For a full stateroom menu, please see
your stateroom portfolio or call the number listed in
your onboard telephone directory.
Private Cocktails and Hors D'oeuvres
What could be more fun than throwing a party at sea?
We'll arrange for the invitations, mix the cocktails,
and pour the wine. Our chef will even prepare a
selection of your favorite hors d'oeuvres. Just contact
the Passenger Services/Purser's Desk to plan all the
details.
Smoke - Free Dining
To enhance your dining experience, Princess has
established a smoke-free dining policy. For your
convenience, Princess offers other smoking areas throughout the
ship.
Discretionary Hotel and Dining Charge
During your cruise, you will meet staff throughout the ship who provide you with excellent service. Many more crew support those who serve you directly. To save you the worry of who to tip and how much, Princess makes it easier for you to reward excellent service by automatically adding a discretionary Hotel and Dining charge of $11 USD for suites and mini-suites and $10.50 USD for all other staterooms per person per day (including children) to your shipboard account on a daily basis. This charge will be shared amongst those staff who help provide and support your cruise experience, including the wait staff, stateroom stewards, buffet stewards, galley staff, laundry staff and others.
Casino dealers and Lotus Spa personnel do not share
in the Hotel and Dining charge as not all passengers
utilize these services.
Bar and Wine Service Charge
A 15% gratuity is added to bar charges and dining
room wine accounts. This is shared amongst the beverage
staff and their support staff, including cleaners and
utility staff. We know you will find the services
onboard exemplary.
Additional Fees
A cover charge of $15 to $25 per person may apply at
Princess' alternative dining venues. Prices may vary or change
without notice.
Alcohol Policy
Passengers under 21 years of age are not permitted to purchase or consume alcohol onboard. Duty- and tax-free alcohol is available for purchase and may be delivered to your stateroom the last day of your cruise. Discounted stateroom packages are available.
Alcohol purchased at any port of call, including the port of embarkation, may not be consumed onboard. It will be collected at the gangway for safekeeping and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of your cruise, prior to your disembarkation. You may bring wine or champagne onboard to celebrate special occasions (limit: one bottle per person). If consumed in the dining rooms or alternative restaurants, each bottle will be subject to a $15 corkage fee*.

We strongly recommend the purchase of a vacation protection program. For your convenience, Princess offers Princess Vacation Protection (formerly Princess Travel Care) as well as enhanced coverage - Princess Travel Care Gold for voyages prior to the Summer of 2009 and Princess Vacation Protection Platinum commencing with Summer 2009 cruises. These plans provide what is perhaps the most attractive combination of protection and flexibility available in cruising today.
Princess Vacation Protection includes Trip Cancellation and Interruption Protection, which provides up to full reimbursement for the otherwise non-refundable cancellation fees if you must cancel or curtail your trip due to eligible medical conditions or other specified causes affecting you, your immediate family members or your traveling companions.
Princess' vacation protection programs offer unique flexibility that many other programs lack. If you have to cancel your cruise for an ineligible reason - any reason at all - you'll receive from Princess Cruises a future cruise credit equal to 75% of the normally otherwise non-refundable cancellation fees.
If you plan to sail with Princess prior to the summer of 2009, you can elect to upgrade to Princess Travel Care Gold for an additional $50. Doing so increases the credit value to 90%.
Starting with voyages departing in summer 2009, Princess is pleased to introduce Princess Platinum Vacation Protection for an additional 4% of cruise fare (12% of cruise fare). Our Platinum Plan provides a future cruise credit value of 100% of the normally non-refundable charges if you must cancel for a reason that is not eligible for 100% cash reimbursement.
And, upgrading to Princess' new Platinum Vacation Protection plan (or Travel Care Gold for voyages prior to the summer of 2009) will also double coverage for medical expenses, lost baggage and emergency medical evacuation.
