DRESS CODE- During the day, casual clothes are fine for the main dining room. In the evening, there are three distinct types of dress onboard: casual, smart casual and formal. Casual: Sport shirts and slacks for men, sundresses or pants for women. Smart Casual: Jackets and ties for men, dresses or pantsuits for women. Formal: Suits and ties or tuxedos for men, cocktail dresses for women. Bare feet or bathing suits are not allowed at any time in the dining room and shorts are not permitted at dinner. Formal Nights
3 to 5-nights cruises - One formal Nights, all other nights are casual.
6 to 9-nights cruises - Two formal nights, one smart casual night and four casual nights.
10 to 13-nights cruises - Three formal nights and three smart casual nights, all other nights are casual.
14 and 15-nights cruises - Three formal nights and four smart casual nights, all other nights are casual.

Age Restrictions

No guest under the age of twenty-one (21) will be booked in a stateroom unless accompanied by an adult twenty-one (21) years of age, or older. This age limit will be waived for minor children sailing with their parents or guardians in adjacent staterooms or under-aged married couples (proof of marriage is required). Royal Caribbean International reserves the right to ask for proof of age. Please note: An individual's age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire cruise vacation. Royal Caribbean International's age policy for gambling and consumption of alcoholic beverages is as follows:

  • Guests eighteen (18) years of age and older are welcome to play in our casinos (for all Alaska sailings, guests must be 21 years of age in order to play in our casinos).
  • Guests eighteen to twenty (18-20) years of age are welcome to enjoy beer and wine (for all Alaska sailings, guests must be 21 years of age in order to consume beer, wine and any other alcoholic beverages). Please note that a beverage waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian and they must also be sailing with the 18-20 year old.
  • Guests twenty-one (21) years of age and older are welcome to enjoy all alcoholic beverages.

Applicable age restrictions apply while the ship is in port, in accordance with local age limitations.

Alcoholic beverages that are purchased duty-free from the Shops On Board will be stored by Royal Caribbean personnel and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of your voyage.

In addition, any liquor purchases that are made by a guest in a land based location, will be stored onboard when they enter the vessel, and will be delivered to their stateroom on the last night of their voyage.
