The Port of Stavanger gets over 50,000 ships a year and is considered one of Norway's major ports of logistics. The location of the port is located with close proximity to the North Sea. A great tourist attraction here in Stavanger is Prekestolen, which is also
known as, The Pulpit Rock. . This is a very colossal rock that overhangs the
fjord. The hike to the rock is well worth it. Great views and photo

everywhere. The rock is wedged in the cliff 1000 meters above the fjords.
Domkirke Cathedral is a church that was built in the middle ages around 1125. A
fire nearly destroyed the structure, however it was spared. Upon new
construction, two square towers and a massive porch were added. The gothic
architecture makes this cathedral a must see for the tourists.
