10 Night Eastern Mediterranean Cruise (Civitavecchia Roundtrip)

Day 1 Venice, Italy 
Upon arrival you will transfer to your Venice hotel to meet your Tour Director. The remainder of the Dayis yours for independent sightseeing and shopping in Venice. Your Tour Director will be happy to recommend a local restaurant for dinner on your own. Overnight in Venice.

Day 2 Venice, Italy 
After breakfast in your hotel, join your Tour Director for a half-Daywalking tour of St. Mark's Square, including a view of the Bell Tower, St Mark's Cathedral (interior), and Doge's Palace for a view of the bridge of Sighs. You may choose to return to the hotel or stay in town for an afternoon and evening of sightseeing, shopping and dining at your own leisure. Overnight in Venice. Breakfast included.

Day 3 Florence, Italy 
Enjoy breakfast in your hotel before boarding a deluxe motorcoach for your journey to Florence. Upon arrival you will have the afternoon and evening free to enjoy Florence and the surrounding area. Be sure to consult your Adventure Specialist for available optional activities, shopping highlights and dining options. Overnight in Florence. Breakfast included.

Day 4 Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy  
After breakfast at your hotel, you will travel to the center of Florence for a half-Daywalking tour of Florence‡, including visits to the Accademia Museum (interior), cathedral Square, the Duomo and Santa Croce Cathedral. In the late afternoon you will transfer to the Florence train station to board a high-speed train (tourist class) for Rome. Upon arrival you will have the evening free for independent dining in the ancient city. Overnight Rome. Breakfast included.

Day 5 Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy 
After breakfast in your hotel, join your Tour Director and begin a half-Daywalking tour of ancient Rome. You'll visit many highlights of Rome including the Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona, and be treated to an interior visit of the Colosseum. After transferring to the hotel, the remainder of your afternoon is at leisure. In evening join your Tour Director for an included farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight a second night in Rome. Breakfast and dinner included.

Day 6 Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy 
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before departing on a tour of the Vatican City. You'll experience interior visit at St. Peter's Square, St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Following the tour, you'll transfer from Rome to Civitavecchia to begin your Mediterranean cruise. Breakfast included.
