No guest under the age of twenty-one (21) will be booked in a stateroom unless accompanied by an adult twenty-one (21) years of age, or older. This age limit will be waived for minor children sailing with their parents or guardians in adjacent staterooms or under-aged married couples (proof of marriage is required). Royal Caribbean International reserves the right to ask for proof of age. Please note: An individual's age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire cruise vacation. Royal Caribbean International's age policy for gambling and consumption of alcoholic beverages is as follows:
Guests eighteen (18) years of age and older are welcome to play in our casinos (for all Alaska sailings, guests must be 21 years of age in order to play in our casinos).
Guests eighteen to twenty (18-20) years of age are welcome to enjoy beer and wine (for all Alaska sailings, guests must be 21 years of age in order to consume beer, wine and any other alcoholic beverages). Please note that a beverage waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian and they must also be sailing with the 18-20 year old.
Guests twenty-one (21) years of age and older are welcome to enjoy all alcoholic beverages. Applicable age restrictions apply while the ship is in port, in accordance with local age limitations.
Alcoholic beverages that are purchased duty-free from the Shops On Board will be stored by Royal Caribbean personnel and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of your voyage.
In addition, any liquor purchases that are made by a guest in a land based location, will be stored onboard when they enter the vessel, and will be delivered to their stateroom on the last night of their voyage.
As of March 1, 2013, Royal Caribbean will automatically add a $12.00 USD gratuity ($14.25 USD for Suite guests) to each guest’s onboard SeaPass® account on a daily basis. This gratuity is shared by Dining Services staff, stateroom Attendants other Housekeeping Services Personnel that work to enhance your cruise. The daily automatic gratuity amounts are recommended and are based on customary industry standards. Effective on sailings departing on or after March 1, 2013. This gratuity replaces our previously recommended gratuity guidelines and will apply to all guests who did not prepay gratuities before February 28, 2013. As with previous gratuities, you will still have the option to prepay before sailing, rather than having the automatic gratuities applied onboard. Bookings that prepay their gratuities before sailing will not be charged daily onboard. As with previous gratuity guidelines, the amount of the automatic gratuity is at your discretion. In the unlikely event you're completely satisfied with the service while onboard, you may visit Guest Services to modify the amount of the daily gratuity. Other onboard gratuity policies remain the same: a 15% gratuity is automatically added to beverages, mini bar items, and spa & salon services, and will be itemized on your receipt.
Note: These gratuities apply to guests of all ages. Gratuities for other service personnel are at your discretion. A 15% gratuity will automatically be added to your bar bill or wine check when you are served. Notice to Guests: Gratuities may be shared with other crew members depending on the particular service requirement. Envelopes for gratuities will be provided in your stateroom on the last night of the cruise. Gratuities may be paid in the following ways: Pre paid by having them added to your reservation by your booking agent. Added to your onboard SeaPass account. Paid in cash at the end of the cruise.
