Our gourmet open-seating Restaurant spares nothing offering guests Charlie Palmer's exceptional cuisine at tables set with exquisite china and crystal. Most evenings, attire is just "jacket required." On special nights we host candlelit black tie optional dining. After dinner, dance the night away in the sophisticated supper club setting.
Intense flavors, stellar service and intriguing food and wine pairings are the specialties of the house in this avant-garde restaurant. Dishes are prepared individually by the chef in tasting portions so you can enjoy a selection of innovative creations. Restaurant 2 will quickly become one of your favorite dinner spots aboard Seabourn Odyssey.
Exclusive to Seabourn Odyssey is our indoor/outdoor restaurant, The Colonnade. Here, chefs serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in an open kitchen so you can watch them work their magic as they personally prepare your order. Each evening has a different theme, offering guests an ever-changing culinary experience.
If you're in the mood for casual dining at its finest, enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner poolside at the Patio Grill. The superb offerings are sure to delight your palette as you enjoy the relaxed ambiance by the pool.
If you're in the mood for a late night pizza or just some fresh crudites in your suite, we offer an extensive room service menu around the clock. During dinner hours, you can choose to have dinner served course by course in your suite, complete with fine linens and personal service.
Attire for Evening
One of the great pleasures of cruising aboard Seabourn Pride, Spirit and Legend is the glamour of evenings at sea. Guests appreciate the contrast between the special atmosphere of formal evenings, which occur two nights during a one-week cruise and three to four nights, depending on the itinerary, on a two-week cruise, and the more informal ambiance that prevails on other evenings. Each day in the ship's program, a dress advisory designates appropriate attire for The Restaurant after 6:00 pm. It will be specified as one of the following:
Formal: Tuxedo (alternatively a dark suit) for men, evening gown or other formal attire for women.
Elegant Casual: Slacks with a jacket over a sweater or shirt for men. Sun-dresses, skirts or pants with a sweater or blouse for women.
Casual: Slacks and a sweater or shirt for men, skirt or slacks with a sweater or blouse for women.
Attire for Daytime
On all Seabourn cruises the general shipboard atmosphere is elegant, but relaxed, and you will enjoy dressing comfortably while indulging in a variety of moods. Elegant casual wear is best for The Restaurant. Shorts and other more casual attire are welcomed in the capturing breakfast and lunch. Swimsuits, brief shorts, exercise clothing and cover-ups should be reserved for poolside lounging, water sports, deck activities and the fitness center or spa.
Attire on Shore
When planning your cruise wardrobe for any climate, layering your clothes will work best. For tropical cruises, bring light, loose-fitting garments that can be paired with a lightweight jacket or sweater. For cooler seasons or climates, pack extra layers of warmer garments such as a light topcoat and some sweaters.
When dressing to go ashore, it is helpful to be aware of the customs of the countries you are visiting. In some ports men and women should not wear shorts. Many cultures prefer that women wear dresses or skirts when visiting shrines, churches and temples. If your cruise takes you to Monte Carlo, casino dress codes require a jacket and tie for men. Once you are on board, Seabourn's well-versed staff members offer informative talks on local customs. Additional hints can be found in the Shore Excursion Information Booklet that you will receive with your cruise documentation.
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
If you have special dietary requirements, Seabourn will make every attempt to accommodate your requests. Please advise us of your needs on the Guest Information Form at least 75 days prior to sailing. Notification should be sent to Seabourn's Special Services Department.
Medical Facilities, Infants and Pregnancy Policy
Each of our ships are equipped with limited medical facilities that are staffed by a physician who is an independent contractor. If you become ill during the voyage and the physician is unable to care for your needs on board, you will be transferred to medical facilities on shore. If your condition will require that you have special medical apparatus or assistance on board, we must be made aware of that at time of booking in order to determine whether we can accommodate your needs. If you are using prescription drugs, please bring an adequate supply with you (together with a copy of the prescription signed by a doctor) and keep them in your carry-on luggage. Due to the limited medical facilities on the ships, we will not accept reservations for infants 24 months or younger or for women who will be 27 or more weeks pregnant as of the time their travel with Seabourn concludes.
Seabourn does not discriminate against persons on the basis of disability. We seek, to the extent feasible, to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities. Seabourn has limited facilities for guests in wheelchairs or for those with significant health problems. Existing medical problems or physical disabilities, which may call for treatment by the ship's medical staff or for assistance during embarkation, must be brought to the attention of Seabourn Cruise Line well in advance. Complete information on wheelchair accessibility can also be given to you at that time. Service animals are permitted on board ships if prior arrangements have been made at time of booking. In limited situations where an individual with a disability would be unable to satisfy certain specified safety and other criteria, even when provided with appropriate auxiliary aids and services, we may find it necessary to ask the individual to make alternative travel arrangements. It is essential that Seabourn is notified of any special medical, physical or other requirements you may have at the time of booking.
Tipping is neither required nor expected. Prices do not include gratuities for local shore excursion guides, drivers, and related service staff. Independent, subcontracted ground operator companies employ all ground staff and these entities do not participate in Seabourn Cruises' on board "no tipping" practice. Tipping of guides, drivers and other independent ground staff is at the individual guest's discretion, anticipated and appreciated.
