Seoul is considered a leading city, since it is ranked eight in the Global Cities Index of 2012. It was also voted the top travel destinantion by many countries and it is home to some major multinational conglomerates. The current name Seoul means "capital city". Its population is densest in the OECD. Seoul hosts an annual festival called Hi! Seoul Festival every spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Seoul has one of the world's most advanced transportation infrastructures that is under expansion constantly. Other features of Seoul are that it is home to many prestigious universities and many specialized high schools.
