Shingu is a city in Japan located in the prefecture of Wakayama. The name means "new Shrine", which refers to the Hayatama Shrine. Shingu is one of the largest cities in Wakayama Prefecture and it is the commercial city of the Kumano Region. Also, Shingu is home to a dish called Nare-zushi, which is the traditional sushi, but was later changed into the sushi that is popular today.
