Kaikoura is a town in New Zealand, on the coast of the South Island. Kaikoura was the first authority to reach the Green Globe tourism certification standard. It is a center for the whaling industry. "Kaikoura" means "meal of crayfish". Tourist are very attracted to whale watching and swimming with the dolphins.
