Harstad is a municipaly in Norway. It is the second most populated municipality in Troms. It is the third-largest populated town in Northern Norway and the most populated in Central Halogaland. Although it is located in in teh Artic Circle, Harstad features a subpolar oceanic climate. Harstad is home to the world's northenmost medieval church, Trondenes Church. Also, there is a land-based cannon from World War II called Adolf Gun.
