Baltimore is located in the state of Maryland situated on the eastern coast of the United States of America. Baltimore is the largest city in Maryland and serves as the state's major cultural and industrial center. The city is named after the founding landowner of the Maryland Colony, Lord Baltimore.   • Inner Harbor- The landmark of the city, this historic seaport offers major attractions like Ripley’s Believe It or Not, The Babe Ruth Museum, and Edgar Allan Poe’s Grave. Check out one of the nearby museums or one of the quaint boutiques nearby.
  • Downtown- This lively business and entertainment hub is best known for its theater district, sporting events and seafood restaurants. Stop by the Lexington Market for delectable local treats, like crab cakes.

Activities
  • Founded In 1914, the Baltimore Museum of Art is positioned between the Charles Village and Remington neighborhoods, on the John Hopkins University campus. Visitors can enjoy the collection of Matisses and Picassos, Impressionist works and the sculpture garden.
  • Take a historical trip to Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine. It is a star fort best known for its role in the War of 1812, when it defended Baltimore Harbor from an attack by the British navy in Chesapeake Bay. It was during this assault of the fort that Francis Scott Key was moved to write The Star-Spangled Banner, the poem that would ultimately be turned into the national anthem of the United States.

Parking lots are located within walking distance of the Cruise Maryland Terminal.

Traveling from the South:

Go I-95 North to Exit 55, Key Highway. After you exit, stay straight for less than a mile on East McComas Street. Cruise Terminal’s entrance is on the right.

Traveling from the North:

Follow I-95 South through the Ft. McHenry Tunnel, be sure to be in the far right lane (bore #1) when going through the tunnel. Take Exit 55, Key Highway. Turn left at the traffic light (traveling under the overpass) onto East McComas Street. Cruise Terminal’s entrance is approximately 350 feet on the right.

 Traveling from the West:

Follow I-70 East toward Baltimore.  Merge onto I-695 South (Baltimore Beltway) via Exit 91A.  Travel about 5 miles and merge onto I-95 North via Exit 11A.  Travel I-95 North for about 5 miles and Exit 55, Key Highway. After you exit, stay straight for about a mile on East McComas Street.  Cruise Terminal entrance is on the right.

Directions from Baltimore-Washington International Airport to Port of Baltimore

  • Start out going WEST on I-195 W.
  • Turn onto MD-295 N via EXIT 2A toward BALTIMORE
  • Turn RIGHT onto W PRATT ST.
  • Finally end at Port of Baltimore
