Things to Do

Visit Gereja Blenduk, a beautiful church dated back to 1732 and is the oldest church in Java. Stunning architecture makes this building a photo spot. Consisting of a dome and weather-washed walls, the church was renovated in the 1900s. The site is a great place to take the whole family.

Lawang Sewu, meaning 1000 doors, is another great architectural hot spot. This building was the center of operations for Nederlandsch Indishe Spoorweg Naatschappij. The building is now vacant and is a tourist attraction. Tall domed towers make this huge building not to be missed.
