Seville is the fourth largest city with a population of over 720,000. It is located on the plain of the Guadalquivir river. Being the most active port on the Iberian peninsula, it is an important factor in commerce between America and Spain. The port became active in 1993 and since then it has been a very active port for import, export, and cruise ships.
Plaza de America is a great landmark that's worth
the visit. There are gardens of flowers where you stroll through. Mainly roses,
there are fountains, ponds, and lush greeneries cover the area. Stunning flowers
throughout the complex. A very peaceful area to relax and to absorb some nature.
El Corte Ingles is a shopping area for those of you who want to shop for
souvenirs or personal items. Plenty of shops that sell small crafts to
appliances for the home. If you visit during the holidays, there are little
girls that wear bright costumes in celebration. A truly amazing site to see.
