Things to Do

A great tourist attraction here in Stavanger is Prekestolen, which is also known as, The Pulpit Rock. . This is a very colossal rock that overhangs the fjord. The hike to the rock is well worth it. Great views and photo opportunities everywhere. The rock is wedged in the cliff 1000 meters above the fjords.

Domkirke Cathedral is a church that was built in the middle ages around 1125. A fire nearly destroyed the structure, however it was spared. Upon new construction, two square towers and a massive porch were added. The gothic architecture makes this cathedral a must see for the tourists.
