Overview

Directly south about 25 miles from Los Angeles, the LA Waterfront is a bustling cruise area. With lots of interesting museums, and indoor craft market and mouthwatering restaurants, travelers can stay, dine, and play nearby the port. Cruisers can also explore popular areas that are only a short distance away, like LA, Catalina Island and Long Beach.

  • LA Waterfront- Located right next to the cruise port, you’ll find art galleries, mouthwatering food, unique shopping and treasures from yesteryear, like the Warner Grand Theatre.
  • Coastal San Pedro- The most southern tip of San Pedro has magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean. On a nice day, walk along the multiple coastal parks and visit the museums and monuments.

Activities
  • Visit the Korean Friendship Bell, an intricately decorated 18 ton bell and pavilion. In 1976, South Korea donated it to our country’s Bicentennial commemoration.
  • Travelers interested in history will enjoy the Fort MacArthur Museum. Previously an operation post for defense of the harbor, this museum has military history exhibits and great views of the ocean.
Family Friendly
  • Families of all ages will love the Los Angeles Fire Department Harbor Museum. Tour the LAFD apparatuses and artifacts from some of the most famous fires. There is also an onsite gift shop with a variety of goodies.
  • Battleship USS Iowa Museum, is a kid-friendly warship with lots of educational exhibits. They offer live performances and great views from the deck.

  • Take the I-105 E / IMPERIAL HWY WEST ramp toward IMPERIAL TERMINAL.
  • Turn onto I-105 E toward NORWALK.
  • Turn onto I-405 S toward LONG BEACH.
  • Turn onto I-110 S toward SAN PEDRO.
  • Turn onto CA-47 N toward VINCENT THOMAS BR
  • Take the FERRY ST exit.
  • Turn RIGHT onto FERRY ST.
  • Turn LEFT onto N SEASIDE AVE.
