Da Nang is a major port city in the South Central Coast of Vietnam, situated on the South China Sea. It is one of the 5 independent municipalities in Vietnam. On the North is Vietnam's former capital Hue, on the West and South is Quang Nam and on the East is South China Sea. The city is 600 miles north of Ho Chi Minh City. The city is classed as an industrial zone and has port facilities to handle container traffic.
Marble Mountain is a great stop for all visiting
the area. The mountain consist of 5 peaks named after an element such as, wood,
fire, metal, water, and earth. This area also has a lot of caves to explore. At
the bottom of the mountain, there are a lot of shops that produce crafty marble
items such as statues or figurines.
Visit China Beach for water activities such as snorkeling and swimming. Great
area for walks on the shore was well. Warm temperatures and water makes this the
perfect place to relax the day away.
