Overview

Constanţa is a seaport located on the Black Sea and the capital of Constanta County, Romania. In the vicinity, there are mineral springs, and the sea-bathing also attracts many visitors in summer. The chief local industries are tanning and the manufacturing of petroleum drums. Mamaia is a beach resort located to the north. The harbor is protected by breakwaters, with a lighthouse at the entrance, and is well defended from the North winds. The Black Sea squadron of the Romanian fleet is stationed here.

A great tourist attraction is the History and Archaeology Museum. Here you will find historical artifacts and other sorts of weaponry and objects. A great place to learn about the history of the city. The museum itself has beautiful architecture worth taking a few shots of.

2 Mai is a very popular resort among artist, painters, and sculptors. This popular beach resort is very beautiful and entertaining for everybody. A great place to just relax and watch the day pass you by.
