Isla de Providencia is an island in the Caribbean, part of Colombia. The island was part of an English Puritan colony and was taken by Spain. There are rumors that Henry Morgan's treasure is hidden on the island, since he used it as a base for raiding the Spanish empire. Providencia island is also the center point of the UNESCO Marine Protected Area, the Seaflower Biosphere Reserve.
