Things to Do

Beautiful sights in Rostock include Neuer Market (New Market Square) that was built in the 13th century. The building holds six gable houses from the fifteenth century. The Kerkhofhaus (built in the 15th century) is a gothic house that is considered the best preserved brick house.

St. Nicholas Church, the oldest church in Rostock was built in the 13th century. The building has been restored due to World War II damage. Now the church is used as a music hall because of the acoustics that surround the church.
