Palamos is a town and metropolis in Spain. With an estimated population of 17,000. Located in the north of the Iberian Peninsula, this region has attractive landscapes, coves and villages, and also a number of key sites with remains from the past, including the homes of the first settlers in the Palaeolithic ruins at Ullastret, the Greek remains at Empuries and gems of medieval architecture, such as Pals. The port is set in one of the biggest and deepest natural bays in this area of the Mediterranean, which makes it very effortless for boats to maneuver to and from.
