Overview

Zeebrugge is a harbor-town at the coast of Belgium, and is also a modern port. Zeebrugge serves as both the international Port of Zeebrugge and a beach-front resort for tourist. Located on the coast of the North Sea which is the busiest sea in the world, its central location on the coast, short distance to Great Britain and close vicinity to densely populated industrialized cities makes Zeebrugge a great cross-roads for traffic from all directions. The marina is also Belgium's most important fishing port, and the wholesale fish market located there is one of the largest in Europe.

Things to Do

The most visited attraction here is the beach due to sand sculpture festivals. Here, people sculpt sand for art. Amazing sculptures from simple things like figurines to massive castles and beyond. A great place to take the family and experience the beauty and the talent these people put on for show.

Have a great time at Zeebrugge's Old Fish Market. Here you will find a lot of restaurants, fish stores, and pubs. This is a great place to visit and has a lot of fun and energy in the air.
