The Argentine Base Esperanza is located in Trinity Peninsula, Antarctica. About 180,000 liters of fuel are used annually by the 4 generators to produce electricity for the station. Around 1,100 tourists visit the base each year. Built in 1975, the base houses 80 inhabitants in winter, including 10 families and 2 school teachers.
The main attraction while you are here is viewing the wildlife. From penguins to whales, this is the place where you can experience these fabulous creatures.
