Fujairah is one of the United Arab Emirates, on the Gulf of Oman in the country's east. The Emirate of Fujairah is the fifth largest in the area. It has a population of about 130,000 people. Fujairah is the only Emirate of the U.A.E. that is mostly mountainous. All the other Emirates, like Dubai and Abu Dhabi are located on the west coast, and are mostly desert. Fujairah gets more rain allowing farmers in the region to produce a meaningful crop every year.
Visit Snoopy Island for some diving or
snorkeling. Here you will see beautiful exotic fish and corals. A great place
for the whole family to experience the underwater world. Snorkels can be rented
for those that do not have any. There is also a possibility to swim with a
turtle.
With perfect weather and warm waters, swimming is also another tourist favorite
