Bora Bora is an island in the Leeward group of the Society Islands of French Polynesia, an overseas territory of France in the Pacific Ocean. The island is surrounded by a lagoon and a fringing reef. In the center of the island are the remnants of an extinct volcano, rising to two peaks, Mt. Pahia, and the highest point, Mount Otemanu. The island has a population of about 7,000 people.
One of the popular activities that can be done
here in Bora Bora is swimming with the fishes. Bring some bread with you and you
will be amazed on how much fish will come to you. Enjoy hundreds if not
thousands of fish feeding trying to get a piece of food from you. Some will even
take food from your fingertips.
Off road excursions is another popular activity that is packed with fun. Hop in
an off road vehicle and off you go on your safari. There will be plenty of photo
oppertunities everywhere so bring plenty of film. A ton of fun for the whole
family.
