- Learn more about the history of Sydney at the Old Sydney Society. Explore the St. Patrick’s Church Museum, Bank of Montreal Museum and the Crossit House, all within a block or two of each other.
- Catch a performance at the local music, dance and theatre venue, Highland Arts Theatre. Located in Sydney’s water front district, the theatre was originally constructed as a Presbyterian church.

- The Port of Sydney is home to the world’s largest fiddle. The bow reaches 60 feet in height. Officially named the Big Fiddle of the Ceilidh, kids will be delighted to hear the giant fiddle playing a tune composed by a local musician.
