- Jersey City- This area is the melting pot where many immigrants entered the United States after leaving Ellis Island. The diversity of the city is best illustrated with its large amount of restaurants and eateries of all different influences. Visit Liberty State Park and catch a ferry to the famous Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and New York City. Vistors can also head to the Liberty Science Center, or take a stroll along the waterfront district to see the Colgate Clock and the Goldman Sachs Tower.
- Staten Island- Located just over the Bayonne Bridge, one of the longest steel arched bridges in the world, Staten Island is within easy reach. Referred to as “The Greenest Borough,” it boasts over 12,300 acres of parks. Visit any one of the many relaxing parks, or experience colonial life in Historic Richmondtown. Don’t miss the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden with a large area that encompasses the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art, the Noble Maritime Collection, Staten Island Children's Museum, the arts school Art Lab, and the Staten Island Museum.

- Head to Newark and visit the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the fifth largest in the United States. Started in 1899, it was not finished until 1954, and it is now a National Historic Site. See the French Gotchic Revival Style architecture, Munich stained glass, hand-carved oak screens, Italian marble, and the largest pipe organ built by the Schantz Organ Co. The public is invited to attend one of the many music concerts held during the year.
- Enjoy a visit to the Cape May Brewing Company where they brew experimental beer, such as sour beers and barrel-aged brews. Go on the self-guided, interactive tour through the Sour Brewery and complete the journey with 24 different taps in the tasting room. Select a brew of choice or order a beer flight and relax while sipping in the Beer Garden.

- Go on a day trip to the Liberty State Park and spend the day at the Liberty Science Center. Here visitors watch a show in the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium, which is the largest in the Western Hemisphere. Kids will love the interactive exhibits, and will get to see and learn about animal species like the naked mole rat, tamarin monkey, and the leaf-cutter ant.
- Take the whole family on a trip to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty. Designed by Frederick Bartholdi and framed by Gustave Eiffel, the statue was a gift from France in 1886 meant to be a symbol of freedom. Climb the 377 steps from the lobby to the crown for stunning views of Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, and the Verrazano Bridge. Book early because tickets sell out fast!
